Jamal Hakim and Arron Wood clearly impressed the crowd, each seeing a strong polling swing in their favour after the event.
Meanwhile, the strongest swing of the night was against current Lord Mayor Nick Reece, who suffered a 13.5 point loss over the course of the night. Liberals and Team Kouta also saw strong swings against them.
Coming from a close pre-poll, by the end of the night Jamal Hakim almost doubled his share of the straw poll respondents. Greens started and ended strong, with Labor also picking up a share of poll respondents.

More than 200 Melburnians showed up on Monday night to Fed Square to see the Lord Mayoral candidates present their visions for the future.
